- First of all, download Netbeans 7.0 in here
- After download that you need to download jdk for Netbeans, go to Synaptic Package Manager and type your password
- Type in search bar jdk and find default-jdk
- Right click -> Look for Mark for installation -> Choose Apply -> just Apply
- After downloading jdk you need to install Netbeans from terminal
- Open terminal and type cd to directory where you download Netbeans eg: cd /media/SYSTEM (i put it in c: Windows directory) -> sh netbeans(press tab immediately) -> Enter
- GUI Installer will show up and ready to install

in windows; on ubuntu on windows, it was easy netbeans.exe hit it. i tried netbeans in terminal but wont work untill

Running the installer wizard...
But the GUI won't show. any solution please???
